 Dr. Rev. Katherine Lambertson has been our Senior Pastor since 2005. In her own words: “My faith is the most important part of who I am as a person and pastor. It gives me vision in my vocation; integrity in how I exist in the world; and accountability to my calling. Through God’s grace I am reborn continuously into a new and more fulfilling existence on a daily basis—in my opinion, it doesn't get better than that!
Because of this great and frequent blessing, it has always been my deepest desire to go where God calls me, and to do what God asks of me. I have attempted to faithfully be the pastor that God calls me to be. This is not a passing fancy for me, and thus will be my desire wherever I am called and whatever I am called to.”
Here are just a few of the exciting changes Rev. Kate has brought to us: a partnership with St. Paul's Lutheran Church for Jr. High and Sr. High Youth Groups...a new adult Sunday School class...a weekly prayer group...a weekly "Life After Meth" community meeting...the monthly Sophia's Circle reading group...a weekly Bible Study for adults...a schedule of Merom retreats for women, men, and more...and the list goes on and on.
